'A BROKEN BEAT' is a Canada-Germany co-production created in conjunction with the Clinical Simulation Learning Centre of Calgary, Canada. The CSLC with their exceptionally realistic environment contributed to an outstanding short movie experience giving the audience an immersion into the situation of a family whose child was born with a heart defect. This project is particularly special because of the reciprocal relationships developed during filming. Peak & Pine Productions is proud to be able to support the CSLC by providing international visibility for the field of nursing.

A 13,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility housed in the University of Calgary’s  Faculty of Nursing that immerses students in simulated scenarios that mimic the chaos, unpredictability, and victories of real-life nursing."

"I am so pleased to have been in a position where I was able to help with such an important initiative….and to help our community here and more broadly !!
Truly, it was my honour to be with you both - and your crew of amazing, dedicated, and hardworking people.”
